PerfectMEETINGS:  How to Run Effective Meetings

                                              Instructor:  Dan Chiodo

How effective are your meetings?  Now  think about how  your team members would respond to the same question.  Would your team say that your meetings accomplish the intended  results, or would they say they are a waste of time?   This course sets out to change that.  We will talk about how to use new strategies to get results.

One popular segment of this course is a discussion of ways to avoid  having unnecessary meetings.  Learn several effective methods that get the same results.

Here€™s what we will cover:

1.   WHO TO INVITE€”a checklist that will help get the decision makers in the room.

2.   THE MEETING PROCLAMATION€”this guide hangs on your conference room wall

3.  TODAY€™S GOAL€”how to set a meaningful goal for each particular meeting

4.  MEET -- you will want this form at every meeting you hold or attend

5.   FOLLOW-UP €”a method to make sure you are handling the important priorities

6.   EVALUATE€”how did the meeting turn out and what needs to be changed?

7.  DELEGATE€”Ensuring that the MC (Meeting Chair) doesn€™t do all the work

How to Coach Employees

Instructor:  Dan Chiodo

We use the word €œcoaching€ in sports, but not as much in the business field.  As an Executive Coach, Dan has worked with hundreds of executives to help them reach their very highest potential.  Today€™s employees have a need to be coached, and when they are they achieve great accomplishments.

In recent years, companies have noticed the success that the coaching industry has had in helping people reach peak performance.  Now some of these companies want to know how to use it within their organization.

This course will help create a coaching system within an organization, without having to send supervisors for expensive training elsewhere. This module can be done for a few supervisors or for all the leaders within an organization.  In fact, the more leaders who use these coaching techniques, the more success the company will have as a whole.

Specific topics include:

1.   THE COACHING MODEL €“the necessary steps in successful coaching

2.   DEMONSTRATION OF MODEL  €“we€™ll ask for volunteers to see the model at work

3.   LET THEM TRY IT  --many times we think employees want to hear us talk.  Wrong.

4.   WHAT TO SAY €“ you will learn specific questions to ask that will get great results

5.  DIFFERENT STYLES OF PEOPLE €”learning this will help you in how to coach

6.  COACHING FORMS  €”you will receive forms that will help you work with each person

Does your Culture Work?

Instructor:  Dan Chiodo

You know what a good culture feels like.  You visit a store or a company and you get a feeling of excitement, happiness, involvement of employees and passion for their work. Whether your company has this or not, this program helps you assess it and make changes so that your culture stands out as one of the best.

Even if you feel your culture is great, it doesn€™t mean that you shouldn€™t examine it.  After all, your industry or market may have changed so that you are on the cusp of a successful or unsuccessful culture.

For some companies, it€™s hard to put their hand on what their culture is like-- or they may not know how to go about it, but we will show you.  Your culture strategy, by the way, should be in your Strategic Plan every year so that you know you have a handle on it.

Some of the topics will include:

1.   PRESENT CULTURE ANALYSIS  --what your culture looks like today

2.   EMPLOYEE FEEDBACK  €“ways to find out what your employees are thinking

3.   AUTOMATIC ELEVATION  --putting a focus on culture is a great employee motivator

4.  WHAT COSTS MONEY AND WHAT DOESN€™T €“ affordable ways to achieve this

5.  THE CULTURE PLAN€”how this will look in your Strategic Plan book

6.  CULTURE TRACKER€”Ways you can track whether your culture program is working

Top Shelf Customer Care

Instructor:  Dan Chiodo

Get ready to discuss some of your most pressing issues in service, whether they be       external or internal.  We will help you with an essential formula that will help you answer

In the course, you will study:

1.   YOUR TOP SHELF ITEMS  --the things you do to stand out as the very best

 2.  HOW TO LISTEN  €“refining your listening skills so that you learn more and talk less
